The beautiful Elgin PIllar, another pictish stone found burried in 1823 in the former churchyard of St. Giles' Church and then relocated in the grounds of Elgin Cathedral ruins.
This granite stone has on one side a cross with four figures in the corners and an abstract design formed by animal heads. On the other side are the picĺtish symbols of the double disc and Z-rod, Crescent and V-rod and a hunting scene.
